Senior IFA Administrator / Trainee Paraplanner
Location: North Manchester
Two days WFH (Following probation)
Salary: Up to £35,000
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our client is a well-established and highly regarded Financial Planning business, currently looking to recruit a Senior IFA Administrator / Trainee Paraplanner to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IFA Administrator or someone who has been in a Trainee Paraplanner role who is looking to take the next step in their career and develop into a Paraplanner role.
You will work closely with Financial Advisers and the wider support team, providing high-quality technical and administrative support while developing your paraplanning skills and knowledge.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
" Providing comprehensive administrative support to Financial Advisers
" Preparing client meeting packs, valuations and review documentation
" Processing new business and ensuring cases progress efficiently
" Liaising with providers, platforms and clients
" Preparing suitability letters and other client documentation
" Assisting with research and analysis of financial planning solutions
" Supporting the preparation of financial planning recommendations
" Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring compliance requirements are met
" Progressively taking on more paraplanning responsibilities with full training and support
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
" Strong experience within an IFA / Financial Planning environment
" Solid knowledge of the financial services administration process
" Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
" Strong written and verbal communication skills
" The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
" A professional, proactive and client-focused approach
" A genuine ambition to progress into a Paraplanner role
Ideally, you will already have some exposure to paraplanning, report writing, research or financial planning, although full development and training will be provided for the right candidate.
