Our client is a highly regarded boutique financial planning firm with an excellent reputation for delivering bespoke advice and outstanding client service. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an organised and proactive IFA Administrator to join their friendly and professional team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with administration experience who is looking to build a long-term career within financial planning. The Role
As an IFA Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Financial Advisers, helping to deliver an exceptional client experience while ensuring the advice process runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a varied role where you'll become an integral part of the team and gain exposure to all aspects of financial planning administration.

Key Responsibilities

" Booking annual review meetings for advisers via telephone, email and post
" Following up with clients to arrange review meetings and maintain engagement
" Preparing annual review packs, including valuations, fund factsheets and provider literature
" Managing the annual review process from start to finish, ensuring accurate management information and reporting
" Handling day-to-day enquiries from clients and product providers
" Obtaining information and documentation from providers
" Managing inbound and outbound calls with clients, providers and colleagues
" Preparing documentation for client meetings, including quotations, valuations and supporting literature
" Processing new business applications and submitting supporting documentation to providers
" Updating and maintaining the back-office system in line with company procedures
" Processing fund switches following client instructions
" Assisting with report writing and providing general administrative support to the advisory team

About You

The successful candidate will have:
" A minimum of 12 months' administration experience
" Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work
" Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
" Excellent communication skills with a professional and confident telephone manner
" Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general IT systems
" The ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively as part of a team
" A proactive, positive and self-motivated approach
" A high level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential client information

Desirable Experience

" An understanding of financial products, including pensions, investments, ISAs, protection and mortgages
" Previous experience within an IFA practice or financial services environment
" Working towards, or keen to study towards, professional qualifications such as the CII Certificate in Financial Services
