DESCRIPTION
Assembly Engineer

40 hour week - 1pm finish on Friday


Our client manufactures high pressure regulator valves in stainless steel for the oil and gas market and have over 1000 parts used in the assembly of their products.

They currently have a vacancy for an Assembly Engineer to join their team.

Key responsibilities include:
o Assembly of regulators to the highest quality standards within required timescales
o Testing of assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards
o Cleaning and finishing of assemblies to reflect the quality of the product.
o Packing products for despatch.

This is an excellent opportunity to be involved with a small dynamic company and build on future opportunities within a growing business.

We are looking for applicants who can provide solutions to any situations that may arise in their work and bring a positive mental attitude to their work.

The successful applicant must be a team player who can equally work on their own initiative, and meet the following criteria:

Qualifications and competencies required for the role:
" Methodical and focused approach to work
" Attention to detail
" Able to work effectively and accurately under time pressure
" Good team player
" Computer literate
" Experience in similar role would be advantageous
" Mechanical engineering experience or qualifications would be an advantage
