DESCRIPTION
EXPERIENCED IFA ADMINISTRATOR
Location: Preston
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
Hybrid Working: 2 days working from home
NJR Recruitment is working in partnership with a large UK professional services and accountancy business focused on audit, tax, advisory, and wealth management services. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Administrator to form part of their Wealth Management team in the Preston office.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting advisers, managing client servicing activities, overseeing processes, and acting as a point of contact for colleagues, clients, and providers. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, support project work, and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Client Support Team.
Key Responsibilities
\" Support the delivery of the Client Support Team function to a high standard
\" Take ownership of specific team tasks and identified projects
\" Troubleshoot operational issues and help implement effective solutions
\" Ensure internal processes and compliance procedures are consistently followed
\" Act as a key point of contact for clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders
\" Manage all aspects of new business processing and ongoing client servicing
\" Liaise with providers, advisers, and technical support teams to gather information and progress cases
\" Maintain complete and accurate audit trails at all times
\" Assist with adviser diary management to maximise efficiency
\" Adhere to all regulatory requirements, compliance procedures, and internal processes
\" Support colleagues with technical guidance and training where appropriate
\" Contribute ideas towards continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements
\" Keep up to date with legislative and regulatory developments
About You
\" Previous experience within a financial services or wealth management administration role
\" Strong client service skills and a professional approach
\" Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
\" The ability to prioritise workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
\" Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
\" Confidence supporting colleagues and escalating complex cases when required
\" Advanced Microsoft Office skills
\" A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative
Desirable Experience
\" Experience using Iress XPLAN and provider platforms
\" Previous experience within a professional financial services firm
\" Experience working within a strong compliance environment
