Financial Planning Administrator
Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham
Salary: up to £32,000
Hybrid working, 2 days from home
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join a growing wealth management business in Sutton Coldfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with IFA administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting advisers to deliver excellent client outcomes.
The successful candidate will play a key role in providing day-to-day administrative support, ensuring client records are maintained accurately and all business processes are completed efficiently and compliantly.
The Role
Working closely with Advisers and the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting client servicing, preparing review documentation, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate back-office records.
Key Responsibilities
\" Preparing valuations and supporting documentation for annual client reviews
\" Updating and maintaining client records and documentation on Intelligent Office
\" Supporting Advisers by gathering information and preparing client meeting packs
\" Drafting annual suitability letters for existing clients
\" Processing transactions and monitoring progress through to completion
\" Issuing relevant client documentation and ensuring compliance standards are met
\" Handling overflow telephone calls and supporting general client enquiries
\" Supporting ad hoc projects and wider operational tasks
\" Working closely with administration and support teams to ensure smooth business operations
About You
\" Minimum 2 years\' experience within the IFA / Financial Services sector
\" Previous experience in a Financial Services Administration role
\" Strong IT skills and confidence using back-office systems
\" Experience with Intelligent Office or similar systems would be advantageous
\" Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
\" Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
\" High attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
\" Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
\" Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach
