DESCRIPTION
A well-established and growing insurance group is looking to appoint a Senior Account Handler to join their team in Altrincham. You\'ll be joining a respected brokerage within the group that is known for its technical strength, specialist expertise and collaborative, down-to-earth culture.
This is a varied role supporting a portfolio of commercial clients, with a strong focus on the recruitment sector. You\'ll work closely with Account Executives and insurers, playing a key role in ensuring clients receive clear, reliable and well-managed solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day servicing of an established portfolio of commercial clients.
- Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, endorsements and client queries across the policy lifecycle.
- Support Account Executives with renewal preparation, market presentations and client documentation.
- Liaise with insurers across commercial and professional lines, including property, liability, cyber and professional indemnity.
- Assist with scheme and delegated authority business where required.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with FCA requirements.
Requirements
- Strong experience within commercial insurance account handling.
- Exposure to recruitment sector risks or working with recruitment clients.
- Good understanding of commercial and professional lines.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach.
