Junior Financial Planning Administrator
Nottingham
Salary: £23,000-£25,000
Full-Time | Permanent

NJR Recruitment is delighted to be representing a reputable and professional wealth management firm that is now seeking a Junior Administrator to join its growing team based in the Nottingham area.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-focused individual looking to start or further their career within financial services. You'll be joining a friendly, supportive team that values professionalism, collaboration, and delivering exceptional client service.

The Role
As a Junior Administrator, you will provide essential support to Advisers, helping them prepare for client meetings and manage day-to-day client relationships. You'll also assist the wider administration and management teams with a variety of operational and client service duties.

Key Responsibilities:

" Process incoming and outgoing post, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
" Conduct quality checks on client communications before distribution.
" Handle routine client calls and assist with enquiries.
" Greet clients and prepare meeting rooms for adviser appointments.
" Create and maintain client records within the CRM system.
" Prepare adviser meeting packs, including valuations and supporting documents.
" Issue and monitor Letters of Authority (LOAs) and liaise with external providers.
" Assist with scanning, filing, and maintaining organised digital records.
" Support the team with ad hoc administrative and operational tasks.

What We're Looking For

" A professional and friendly telephone manner with a client-focused attitude.
" Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
" Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
" Confident communication and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
" Good understanding of Microsoft Office and willingness to learn internal systems.
" Previous experience in financial services or wealth management is desirable, but not essential.
