Independent Financial Adviser
Location: Coventry Area | Office-Based
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 DOE + Bonus & Benefits
Full-Time or Part-Time | Permanent

NJR Recruitment is delighted to be representing a highly regarded Chartered Financial Planning practice in the Coventry area, now seeking an experienced Independent Financial Adviser to join their growing advisory team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CAS-status adviser looking for a long-term home with an established client base, full paraplanning and administrative support, and the chance to progress toward Chartered status.

What's on Offer
" Salary between £45,000 - £60,000 (DOE)
" Bonus structure - 2x validation
" Established client base to take on and develop
" Full paraplanning and administrative support provided
" 22 days' holiday (plus bank holidays)
" 5% employer pension contribution
" Group life assurance (death in service)
" Group critical illness insurance
" Health cash plan
" CPD, exam support, and clear progression to Chartered status
" Options for both full-time and part-time working

The Role
As an Independent Financial Adviser, you'll deliver holistic financial planning across pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning. With an existing portfolio of clients to service - and the option to bring your own - you'll be able to focus on building strong, long-lasting relationships and delivering excellent outcomes in a supportive, client-first environment.

Key Responsibilities
" Provide holistic financial advice across pensions, investments, protection, IHT, and retirement planning
" Conduct detailed fact-finds, risk assessments, and cashflow modelling
" Deliver clear, compliant recommendations both in writing and face-to-face
" Build and maintain trusted client relationships, supporting long-term planning
" Work closely with paraplanners and administrators to ensure smooth delivery of advice
" Keep up to date with FCA regulations and maintain high compliance standards
" Optional: contribute to business development through referrals, introducers, or networking

What We're Looking For
" Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (minimum)
" CAS status essential
" Ideally 5+ years' experience as a Financial Adviser
" Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and tax-efficient strategies
" Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
" Highly client-focused with the ability to manage your own workflow
" Desire to maintain the highest ethical and professional standards
