SSAS Administrator
MANCHESTER - 3 days office, 2 days WFH
Salary up to 38,000

As part of their continued growth, the Self-Invested Pensions division is now seeking an experienced SSAS Pensions administrator to join their dynamic Manchester office on a hybrid working basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with prior SSAS experience, looking to join a forward-thinking business with a strong reputation and a commitment to excellence in client service.

Essentials criteria:
o Previous pensions experiences within SSAS pensions.
o Good level of education with a minimum GCSE Grade C/ Level 4 in Maths and English or equivalent
o Excellent Communication Skills
o Strong Problem Solver
o Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
o Strong Team Player
o Must be able to attend Manchester office location
Responsibilities:
o To provide an excellent customer service and keep our clients at the heart of everything we do
o Using SSAS-pro and SIPP-pro and other computer systems to check and update records including the daily work log
o Attend client meetings as and when required
o Proactively suggesting improvements to the team\'s work processes, aiming to improve client service and efficiency
o Checking work for fellow colleagues and recognising good work
o Providing coaching, training and guidance to fellow colleagues and take ownership of issues identified and checking all types of work
o Processing pension contributions
o Transferring benefits and/or the administration and trusteeship to/from another provider
o Closing/winding-up a pension account or scheme
o Processing new bank account and investment account applications
o Dealing with setting up new loans and on-going administration of these.
o Providing comments on member\'s pension policies
o Providing information to third parties
o Dealing with property purchases and sales
o Providing reports and information to HMRC and FCA
o Divorce issues
o Death Benefit issues
o Fee Management
o Ensuring all compliance and SIP process are always followed
o Being able to follow the complaints process and being able to overcome client\'s objective and deal with difficult situations
o Participate in project work
o Actively liaise and feedback to team manager regarding staff, technical and risk issues
o Supporting your manager and providing management cover as and when required
o Assisting with the reallocation of work with the team to cover absence and to ensuring service standards are met
