Our client, a market leader in the distribution of products to the retail industry is now seeking a talented and ambitious Procurement Administrator to join their Greater Manchester based offices.

The purpose of the role is to provide administration support for the day to day activities within the Procurement department.
Responsibilities
Complete all Product Set-ups and Price Changes agreed timescales
Gather product specifications & images to support Product Set-ups within agreed timescales & provide to Business Support
Gather product sustainability data from external sources, ensuring their material compliance requirements are adhered to
Propose solutions to improve efficiency and reduce administration
Co-ordinate Invoice Queries process
Investigate invoice queries & provide Category Managers & Buyers will supporting documentation to help resolve queries
Contact with suppliers and Procurement team to resolve queries, as required
Action resulting Product Lifecycle forms
Report on outstanding queries and resolved queries, and ensure query values reduce
Supplier & Stakeholder Relationship Management
Maintain Supplier contacts database
Conduct and develop professional & meaningful relationships both internally and externally with suppliers where required.
Manage sample requests for Category Managers & Buyers, Customers, tenders & Suppliers
Manage storage within the Procurement office
Sample collection from warehouse
The successful candidate will be self-organised and sufficiently mature in attitude to work independently, whilst balancing multiple tasks at the same time, some repetitive, short term, some strategic projects, long term. Previous Database maintenance experience would be of particular interest!
