DESCRIPTION
Paraplanner - Investment & Pensions
Kettering, Hybrid after probationary period
Salary up to 50,000 (Experience dependant)
25 days plus bank holidays
Free car parking
Auto enrolment pension scheme (employee 5% employer 3% contributions)
3 x salary death in service scheme after probation period 6 month
Company sick pay scheme after probationary period.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Paraplanner to join a well-established and dynamic financial services firm. This role offers the chance to work closely with a team of experienced advisers, providing high-quality support and ensuring clients receive the best possible financial advice.
Key Responsibilities:
\" Prepare discussion documents and suitability reports for client meetings.
\" Conduct research on product suitability to provide whole-of-market advice.
\" Ensure technical paperwork is completed and ready for adviser presentations.
\" Maintain accurate records and logs, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
\" Liaise with providers, advisers, and clients to facilitate smooth business processes.
\" Keep up to date with industry regulations, attending seminars and briefings as needed.
\" Contribute to the firm\'s central investment proposition.
\" Support advisers in delivering a first-class service to clients.
Skills & Experience Required:
\" Strong IT skills, with experience in Word, Excel, and financial software (e.g., Intelligent Office, Cashcalc, FE Analytics, Selectapension).
\" Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
\" Strong organisational abilities with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
\" Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
\" Analytical mindset with confident decision-making abilities.
\" Previous industry experience is essential.
\" Diploma qualification (or working towards) is preferred but not essential.
